About the Role

The Philanthropy Coordinator plays a key role in advancing the comprehensive fundraising strategy for the Novant Health Foundation. This position supports the Philanthropy team in building and strengthening the major gifts pipeline while actively managing donor relationships and stewardship efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Donor Management
  • Manage a portfolio of 50+ prospects and donors
  • Achieve and sustain annual philanthropic support with a defined fundraising goal
  • Build and strengthen the major gifts pipeline
  • Develop and actively manage annual donors within the assigned market
Donor Stewardship
  • Coordinate donor acknowledgements and recognition efforts
  • Support donor recognition events and stewardship activities
  • Assist with implementation of the Foundation’s comprehensive fundraising plan
Data & Administration
  • Maintain and update donor records in the Foundation’s database system
  • Track donor engagement and giving activity
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Philanthropy team

Qualifications

Education (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree)
Experience (Required)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a multi-task, customer service environment
Experience (Preferred)
  • Business or Financial experience
  • Marketing
  • Event Management
  • Healthcare
