Job Description Summary
The Phlebotomist performs phlebotomy procedure efficiently to collect blood samples that will be used to Perform a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests in different lab units in accordance with standard laboratory practice and procedures to obtain accurate and precise data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Operational Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform all kinds of phlebotomy procedures pediatric and adult with minimal supervision of the senior phlebotomist
- Perform other job related miscellaneous activities requested by the seniors or the supervisory personnel Releases the orders form EPICLIS systems arranges the labels
- Follow the proper patient identification procedure as per policy before specimen collection
- Gather correct information from the test catalog available in the system provide patients physicians and nurses with appropriate preparation procedure to be followed for the special tests
- Receive blood and nonblood specimens in the system and perform nonblood specimen processing and dispatch to the appropriate sections
Minimum Education Required
High School Certificate or equivalent is required. 2 3 years Diploma in medical technology and or Diploma in phlebotomy.
Professional Certifications Required
Saudi Commission for health specialties Licensure requirement must be met (SCFHS Classification and Saudi MOH Licensed). Medical Laboratory technician/Phlebotomist classification.
Years of Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or in phlebotomy procedures.
