Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist wanted to assist in performing clinical laboratory tasks, administrative tasks, and select tasks involving patient care. Full-time position, Monday-Friday, no evenings!

Essential functions: Obtain blood samples from patients, processing specimens, carry out tests on patient specimens in-house lab, use universal precautions from drawing the specimen to the disposal of the specimen to avoid exposure/injury, alert providers of abnormal findings, data entry, proficiency testing, documenting in electronic medical record.
