Phlebotomist

Seeking a Certified Phlebotomist role at primary care office in Riverview, FL.

Ideal candidate will have experience in blood-draw and other laboratory tasks. Will also have experience with EMR, specifically ECW.

Job duties consist of:

• Routine blood-draw (approximately 30-40 sticks per day)
• Ordering and Obtaining lab results knowlage of codes a must
• Calling patients with lab results and provider treatment plans
• Managing lab inventory, ordering supplies as needed
• Calling lab/insurance to troubleshoot and resolve billing/specimen issues
• Performing quality control testing for CLIA-waived tests
• Monitoring lab fridge temperature
• Assisting back office/front office as needed
• Writing lab script and emailing them to patients

This is a full-time position, Monday - Thursday from 630am - 3:00 PM. Fridays 630-1:00pm Benefits include paid time off, disability insurance, and 401-K after 1 year employment.

Candidate must be willing to undergo a background screening prior to employment.
