Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Phlebotomist I to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, grow their skills, and contribute as part of a collaborative team. The Phlebotomist I will work under supervision to provide excellent patient care, assist with specimen collection, and support daily operations in patient service centers and clinical environments.

• $16.00 per hour base pay
• Eligible for applicable skill differential compensation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collections
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and preparation of samples for testing and transport
• Accurately enter patient data, order choices, and specimen details into the system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and patient care skills
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of phlebotomy training and a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience (required)
• Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in email communication and basic computer functions
• All candidates must pass a background check in compliance with Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) guidelines
• High school diploma; GED

License/Certification:

• Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
