Job Description

We are looking for a PHOTOGRAPHER with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Interior Decoration Business and Furniture Companies. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia or any related field of study, possess a valid Qatar ID, and be able to provide NOC to join our company located in Doha, Qatar.

Summary

The Photographer is responsible for capturing clear, creative, and high-quality images according to the brand’s specifications. Duties include setting up backdrops, lighting, and photography equipment for photoshoots, directing subjects to capture the perfect image, and editing photos to enhance quality and correct lighting issues. The Photographer will closely collaborate with the Marketing, Design, and Retail teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Expertly operate cameras and associated accessories such as lenses, tripods, and external flashes.
• Work with digital imaging equipment, including uploading photographs to digital and online databases and posting them online.
• Execute standard photography operation procedures including photo editing techniques, tools, processes, and guidelines.
• Oversee brand standards, lighting techniques, and image quality.
• Archive photographs and organize files systematically.
• Maintain clean and organized studio and on-site environments, arranging props and products as needed to capture the desired images.
• Return all props and products to their proper locations and clean up all equipment and materials used during photoshoots.
• Keep equipment updated, organized, and properly maintained.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, and Retail teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and creative solutions.
• Utilize up-to-date knowledge of product trends, consumer buying behavior, and photography/imaging technology to enhance product presentation.

Skills

• Strong creative skills and artistic ability to capture high-quality images.
• Technical knowledge to operate, configure, set up, and troubleshoot photography and lighting equipment.
• Proficiency with photo editing software and camera equipment.
• Ability to maintain high standards for creative output.
• Strong work ethic.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to notice imperfections that may compromise image quality.
• Basic social media skills including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, and YouTube.
• Ability to resize images and adjust color settings for web and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO and social media marketing.
• Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage several tasks efficiently.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to carry heavy equipment and work in various shooting positions including standing, walking, squatting, and crouching.
