Job Description
The Photographer & Videographer supports the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Director by creating high-quality, engaging visual content that aligns with the brand identity and marketing objectives. This role plays a key part in delivering visual assets that support business growth and company goals across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand creative briefs, specifications, and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop visual concepts.
- Conduct research relevant to each project.
- Prepare references, shooting plans, and present creative ideas.
- Produce creative and compelling visual content (images and videos) tailored to marketing and business needs.
- Plan and execute photo and video shoots, including set preparation, lighting, background, and composition.
- Direct participants and arrange scenes to achieve desired visual outcomes.
- Operate, maintain, and manage modern and traditional photographic and videographic equipment (cameras, lenses, lighting, etc.).
- Edit and process photos and videos using appropriate tools and software.
- Ensure content is optimized for various platforms, including digital and social media.
- Archive all visual assets and maintain an organized content database.
- Maintain a strong understanding of photographic and videographic best practices.
- Stay updated on current trends in content production and platform-specific requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in photography and videography.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the UAE.
- Proven professional shooting experience in relevant industries.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating photography and video work.
- Proficient in using traditional and modern equipment.
- Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Capture One, or other photography-specific software.
- Strong expertise in video editing for social media and digital platforms.
- Knowledge of production workflows, online publishing, and post-production techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
- Well-organized, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Creative, proactive, and capable of thinking outside the box.
- Independent, responsible, and entrepreneurial work ethic.
- Degree in Film, Communications, Broadcasting, Arts, Design, or a related field is an advantage.
