Photographer & Video Editor (Field-Based – Travel Required)

Vision for Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering vision care and conducting free eye screening camps and cornea transplantation program across undeserved communities. We aim to raise awareness through powerful storytelling and documentation of real-life impact. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Photographer & Video Editor to join our team and help bring these stories to life.

Job Description:

The individual will play a key role in capturing patient interviews, screening events, and community impact across multiple cities. This includes both photography and video editing, often under field conditions. The ideal candidate must be comfortable traveling to remote areas and interacting with patients and local partners.

Responsibilities:

· Travel to various cities and rural areas for field visits and patient interviews

· Capture high-quality photos and videos during eye screening camps

· Conduct short, on-camera interviews with patients, volunteers, and doctors

· Edit and produce compelling video content for NGO use (social media, research reports, reporting to donors)

· Organize and maintain visual media archives

· Work closely with the communications and program teams to plan shoots

Requirements:

· Proven experience in photography and video editing (portfolio required)

· Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or similar tools

· Willingness to travel frequently and stay in rural or semi-urban locations

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially for interviewing patients

· Ability to work independently in fast-paced field conditions

· Fluency in [local language] and/or English preferred

· A valid ID and willingness to travel outside the city

Preferred:

· Experience working with NGO or on humanitarian storytelling

· Own camera and editing equipment

· Basic understanding of healthcare will be a plus
