Atomic Stays is one of the fastest-growing, investor-focused vacation rental companies in Colorado, managing 200+ high-performing homes across Vail, Denver, and Winter Park. Our properties consistently outperform the market because of how we design, position, and present them.

This role sits at the center of that advantage.

We are hiring a full-time Photographer / Videographer / Cinematographer / Content Creator to own the visual storytelling of our portfolio. Your work will directly impact revenue, booking performance, and brand perception.

This is not just a creative role. It is a performance role.

Your #1 responsibility is to create high-converting listing photos and videos that drive bookings. Just as important, you will take that same content and turn it into social, ad, and brand content that drives direct bookings and builds long-term demand for Atomic Stays.

What You’ll Do1. Property Photography & Videography (Core Responsibility)

• Capture best-in-class photos and videos for all new listings and refreshes
• Shoot with a performance mindset (not just aesthetic) — every shot should help convert bookings
• Highlight layout, flow, experience, and unique selling points of each home
• Deliver content optimized for Airbnb, VRBO, and direct booking channels
• Continuously improve based on performance data and booking trends

2. Content Creation for Growth (Equally Important)

• Turn listing shoots into high-performing social content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
• Create content designed to drive direct bookings, not just engagement
• Assist in building and testing paid ad creatives over time
• Develop repeatable content formats that scale (home tours, hooks, seasonal content, etc.)

3. Cinematic Brand & Lifestyle Content

• Capture elevated, cinematic footage of properties and surrounding experiences
• Tell the story of staying in Vail, not just the home
• Create content that positions Atomic as a premium, trusted brand

4. Local Event & In-Market Content (Vail Focus)

• Attend local events, peak weekends, and seasonal moments in Vail
• Capture real-time content that shows demand, energy, and lifestyle
• Turn local moments into content that drives urgency and bookings

5. Editing & Post-Production

• Edit all photo and video content to a high-end, consistent standard
• Color grade, sound design, and format content for multiple platforms
• Maintain a clean, organized media library across all properties

What We’re Looking For

• Strong portfolio in real estate, hospitality, or lifestyle content (high-end preferred)
• Ability to shoot both performance-driven listing content AND brand/social content
• Deep understanding of composition, lighting, pacing, and storytelling
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects) or equivalent
• Experience creating content specifically for social platforms (short-form especially)
• Ability to move fast, stay organized, and operate independently
• Willingness to be based primarily in Vail (80%), with time in Denver (20%)
• Someone who cares about output, not just creativity

Comp / Structure

• Full-time role
• Competitive base + performance upside tied to output and impact
• Travel between Vail and Denver covered as needed

Pay: $65.00 - $130.00 per hour
