Role Overview

The Photographer / Videographer / Video Editor will be responsible for end-to-end visual content creation for Harsha Institutions. This includes planning, shooting, editing, and archiving photos and videos for branding, admissions, digital marketing, events, and institutional documentation.

This is a hands-on, full-time, campus-based role requiring flexibility, creativity, and professionalism.

Key ResponsibilitiesPhotography

• Capture high-quality photographs of:
• Campus infrastructure, classrooms, labs, hostels, and facilities
• Academic activities, events, ceremonies, and celebrations
• Faculty, students, and official portraits
• Maintain consistency with institutional branding and quality standards.

Videography

• Shoot professional videos for:
• Admissions promotions and institutional branding
• Departmental showcases and program highlights
• Events, guest lectures, seminars, and student activities
• Operate cameras, gimbals, lighting, microphones, and related equipment.

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit videos for social media, websites, YouTube, and internal use.
• Perform color correction, sound balancing, transitions, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
• Create short-form and long-form video content as per requirements.

Content Planning & Coordination

• Work closely with the Social Media Manager and Marketing team to plan visual content.
• Coordinate with departments for scheduled shoots.
• Support campaigns related to admissions, scholarships, placements, and institutional milestones.

Asset Management & Compliance

• Organize and maintain photo and video archives systematically.
• Ensure timely delivery of content as per schedules.
• Follow institutional guidelines, approvals, and confidentiality norms.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Videography, Media, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in photography and video production.
• Strong knowledge of camera handling, lighting, framing, and composition.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work on weekends or after hours during events when required.
