Job Title: Part-Time Photographer & Photo Editor

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Part-Time Photographer & Photo Editor to join our team! This is a dynamic position that includes both photography and editing responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be experienced, self-motivated, and comfortable working with a variety of photography styles and diverse subjects—especially children.

Key Responsibilities:

· Photograph a wide range of sessions including volume photography, sports photography, green screen, and studio portraits.

· Confidently shoot in manual mode and demonstrate a strong understanding of lighting and composition.

· Cull and edit large batches of images efficiently and with attention to detail.

· Perform general photography-related tasks such as placing client orders, sorting orders, and handling client communication.

· Travel locally (within 10 miles) to shoots as required.

· Work well with children and create a positive, friendly experience for all subjects.

· Adapt to a flexible and seasonally variable schedule, including early morning availability during the fall.

Requirements:

· Prior photography experience required.

· Proficiency in manual shooting.

· Experience with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

· Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and meeting deadlines.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Must have reliable transportation.

· Ability to lift and carry photography gear as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous work in school or sports photography settings.

· Customer service background is a plus.

Schedule:
Hours will vary by season, with peak times in the fall and spring. Some early mornings and occasional weekends may be required. Opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
