Photoshop Specialist for Print Production

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Photoshop Specialist for a freelance role to prepare artwork files for professional print production, including canvas, acrylic, and framed art. This intermediate-level position supports ongoing projects with an expected workload of less than 15-20 hours per week. This is a remote opportunity with the potential to grow into a part-time or full-time position as business volume increases.

Role Overview

You will prepare JPEG files for production based on work orders and visual reference decks. Precision, consistency, and adherence to structured workflows are essential.

Responsibilities

- Image Setup: Adjust sizes, set resolution to 150 DPI, and crop according to aspect ratios and reference decks. Create 4” mirrored bleeds for canvas wraps using the provided PSD actions.

- Color Correction: Apply curves and saturation adjustments. Tailor contrast and highlights based on the specific material (Canvas, Framed, or Acrylic).

- Retouching & QC: Inspect files at 200% zoom to remove imperfections using Spot Healing and Clone Stamp tools. Ensure no color banding or edge issues exist before delivery.

- File Delivery: Export files as Maximum Quality JPEGs and manage transfers via secure links and WeTransfer.

Requirements

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and experience with print-ready file preparation.

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow specific technical instructions.

- Reliable turnaround times.

- Knowledge of Graphic Design and mock ups and layouts

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
