Photovoltaic (PV) and BESS Designer

Electrical Consultants, Inc. This position will encompass a variety of design and drafting tasks supporting renewable energy system designs for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. This includes design of underground power cable, routing, development of system plans, grounding details, conduit details, preparation of bill of materials as well as electric schematics and study support based on guidance from the project engineer.

Minimum Requirements: College degree in an acceptable curriculum or two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design, or a minimum of two years concentrated on the job experience in computer-aided drafting/design field. A minimum of 5 years of concentrated computer-aided drafting experience or sufficient CADD knowledge supplemented by industrial, construction or construction management is required. 3D CADD experience (Micro Station or AutoCAD) is required. Proven effective verbal and written communication skills; proven excellent level of interpersonal skills; ability to work individually and on a team. Must be detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills. Proven ability to work with confidential information. Proven ability to exercise independent judgment.
