PHP Developer

ZPayso is seeking a talented and detail-oriented PHP Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications for our fintech platforms. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in strengthening system reliability, enhancing backend architecture, and supporting the continuous delivery of innovative digital financial solutions. This position requires strong technical expertise in PHP development, database management, API integrations, and secure coding practices within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust web applications using PHP and modern frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code in accordance with industry best practices.
• Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and performance using MySQL or other relational databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and fintech-related services.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing components with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement performance optimization, scalability improvements, and secure coding standards.
• Maintain version control and manage code repositories using Git or similar tools.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows.
• Work cross-functionally with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in PHP development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar MVC frameworks.
• Solid understanding of MySQL or other relational database systems.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, data protection principles, and web application security standards.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
