Job Role: PHP Developer (WordPress, Laravel, Node.js & Python)

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our team and support the development of scalable, high-performance web platforms. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across multiple technologies and contributing to systems that support how global interior design platforms operate.

You will primarily work with PHP, WordPress, and Laravel, while also collaborating on services and integrations built using Node.js and Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
• Build and maintain Laravel-based back-end systems, APIs, and background jobs.
• Design and implement responsive front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Develop and integrate services using Node.js and Python where required.
• Work with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations across multiple systems.
• Manage and optimize MySQL databases, including large datasets.
• Implement caching, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Ensure applications meet SEO, performance, and availability standards.
• Monitor applications to ensure uptime, fast load times, and system reliability.
• Debug issues, respond to errors, and troubleshoot production problems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and DevOps.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in PHP and back-end development.
• Strong experience with WordPress core, custom themes, and plugin development.
• Solid hands-on experience with Laravel framework.
• Working knowledge of Node.js for APIs, services, or integrations.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or back-end services.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON, XML).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and database optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, Mercurial).
• Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools.
