Job Description

We are seeking a PHP/Laravel Intern to join our development team. This role is ideal for candidates who want to strengthen their Laravel and web development skills while gaining hands-on experience integrating AI services such as OpenAI into real-world applications.

You will work closely with senior developers on building and maintaining web applications and implementing AI-powered features through APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Laravel
• Work with RESTful APIs and back-end logic
• Integrate third-party services, including AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI)
• Collaborate with front-end developers using React or Vue.js
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and issue resolution
• Assist in developing and testing new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Stay updated with modern web and AI integration trends

Required Qualifications

• Recently graduated from a Computer Science or related program
• Understanding of PHP and Laravel
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git / GitHub
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with OpenAI / ChatGPT API integration
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and chatbots
• Familiarity with React.js or Vue.js
• Knowledge of REST API authentication
• Exposure to hosting
• Understanding of chatbot frameworks (e.g., Rasa) at integration level
