We are currently seeking dedicated Physiatrist to join our team, contributing to medical care within a skilled nursing facility. In this role, you will specialize in physical and rehabilitation medicine, focusing on pain management and related areas. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing the overall well-being of residents. This includes utilizing advanced pain management techniques, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and staying abreast of the latest developments in physiatry to ensure the highest quality of care. Compensation:
Part Time: base + performance incentive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and follow-up physical exams on patients in outpatient, SNF, or home-care settings
  • Take detailed patient histories and develop differential diagnoses based on clinical presentation
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, EMGs, lab work, and imaging studies
  • Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans in collaboration with attending physiatrists
  • Perform minor in-office procedures (e.g., trigger point injections, joint injections – training available if needed)
  • Provide patient education on injury prevention, functional recovery, and chronic disease management
  • Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, pain specialists, and primary care physicians
  • Accurately document patient encounters in a timely manner using EMR systems
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning for complex cases

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $250,000.00 per year
