Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our dynamic British international school The successful candidate will inspire a love of physical activity, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and support the physical, social, and emotional development of all learners. This role requires a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum, organize school sporting events, and foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages students to lead healthy, active lifestyles.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum for students from FS1 to Year 8.
Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a love for sports and healthy living among students.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse physical and developmental needs of all learners.
Organize and lead school sports events, tournaments, and after-school activities.
Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and achievement.
Ensure student safety through proper supervision, risk assessments, and equipment checks.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate health, well-being, and physical activity across the curriculum.
Maintain positive communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and participation.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular programs and community events.
Participate in professional development and stay updated with best practices in physical education

Strong classroom and behavior management – creates a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of the British National Curriculum for Physical Education and child development across FS1–Year 8.
Organizational and time management skills – capable of planning lessons, managing equipment, and coordinating events efficiently.
Teamwork and collaboration – works effectively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support whole-school initiatives.
Adaptability and creativity – able to adjust lessons to meet diverse needs and make learning active and enjoyable.
Leadership and coaching abilities – skilled in leading extracurricular sports and promoting physical activity beyond the classroom.
Commitment to student well-being – fosters confidence, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for physical fitness.
