Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and student-centric Physical Education Teacher to plan, organize and deliver physical education lessons and sporting activities for students. The role aims to promote physical fitness, teamwork, healthy habits and sportsmanship among students in accordance with the school’s curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Plan and conduct regular physical education classes focusing on fitness, fundamental sports skills, and healthy lifestyle habits.
✔ Teach various indoor and outdoor games, exercises, and physical activities.
✔ Organize and supervise sports events, inter-house competitions, drills, and annual sports meets.
✔ Ensure safety of students during all physical activities and proper use of sports equipment.
✔ Motivate students to participate actively, develop teamwork, discipline and self-confidence.
✔ Evaluate and record students’ progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
✔ Maintain sports equipment and facilities in clean, safe, and orderly condition.
✔ Collaborate with school staff on curriculum, events and extracurricular activities.
✔ Attend teacher meetings and contribute to school sports planning throughout the year.

Required Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent qualification.
✔ Diploma or certification in sports coaching/fitness training (preferred).
✔ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Ability to motivate and manage students of different age groups.

Preferred Skills

✔ Knowledge of a wide range of sports and training techniques.
✔ Strong organizational and planning skills.
✔ First Aid and student safety awareness.
✔ Ability to maintain discipline and encourage participation
