Job description:

PT Billing Solution ("PTBS"), a national leader in therapy billing services, is expanding its team and seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Physical & Occupational Therapy Biller to join its growing workforce. This is a dynamic role requiring expertise in therapy billing, insurance verification, and denial management, with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship within a supportive, remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of therapy patient accounts from initial visit through final resolution.
• Conduct insurance verifications, obtain authorizations, and ensure claims are accurately submitted.
• Perform accounts receivable tasks, denial research, and resolution while adhering to compliance standards.
• Provide courteous, professional communication to patients, referral sources, and insurance providers.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and team members to maintain efficient workflows and address issues proactively.
• Uphold the company’s values of integrity, professionalism, and excellence in all tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• CBCS certification or commitment to obtaining certification within 18 months.
• 1-2 years of experience in Physical & Occupational Therapy billing.
• Knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-10 coding, therapy modifiers, and billing methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in Nextgen, Intergy/Greenway, ModMed, eClinical Works – Preferred
• Professional demeanor, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Self-driven, receptive to mentorship, and committed to continuous improvement.
