We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine functional limitations and develop tailored care plans that align with individual goals and medical conditions.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and exercise prescriptions to promote recovery.
- Manage discharge planning by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transition from hospital or clinic settings to home or community environments.
- Provide specialized care for diverse populations including geriatrics, orthopedics, and patients recovering from acute care or hospital stays.
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining detailed records of treatments administered and patient responses.
- Educate patients and caregivers on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery.
- Stay current with advancements in physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques to deliver the highest standard of care.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology principles underpinning effective physiotherapy interventions.
- Proven experience in inpatient hospital environments, outpatient clinics, home health services, or community care programs.
- Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation and treatment planning.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and empathetically.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and collaborative care approaches across healthcare disciplines.
- Experience in geriatrics, and orthopedics, is highly desirable.
