Physical Therapist (PT) — School-Based | Jacksonville, NC | 2026–2027 School Year

Ampersand Therapy - a women-founded, therapist-led school-based therapy company - is excited to hire a compassionate, student-focused Physical Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based evaluations, direct treatment, and progress monitoring for students (pediatric caseload)
  • Write and maintain IEPs, therapy plans, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary special education team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in North Carolina, OR licensed in another state and willing to obtain NC licensure ASAP
  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
