Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (Contract)

Location: California 93301
Pay: $2,351 – $2,635/week

Schedule:

• Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)

• Weekend: At least 1 shift per month (rotation)

• Floating to other sites (AHDL, AHTV, AHSB) as needed

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for inpatient acute care patients

• Provide therapy interventions to restore/improve physical, social, and mental function

• Supervise therapy assistants and co-lead interdisciplinary patient care

• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation

• Communicate care and discharge plans with team and patients

• Assist with special procedures (e.g., video swallows)

• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety

Requirements:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent

• Active Physical Therapist license (California)

• BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)

• Minimum 2 years experience preferred

• Comfortable floating to other hospital sites

Additional Notes:

• Work in multiple units of the hospital as orders dictate

• Vaccinations required per facility policy

• Scrubs: black
