Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist provides skilled therapy services to patients with a wide range of diagnoses and functional limitations. This role focuses on patient evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation to maximize independence and improve quality of life in a patient-centered care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide physical therapy interventions to improve mobility and function
  • Deliver care aligned with patient-specific needs and functional goals
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation and recovery plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
  • Provide professional consultation and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols

Must-Have Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program:
    • Bachelor's OR Master's OR Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • Active Oregon Physical Therapist License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association - upon hire)
  • Strong clinical skills in evaluation and treatment planning

  • Expertise in physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices

  • Ability to work with diverse patient populations
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational abilities

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in acute care or hospital-based therapy
  • Specialized training in specific therapy areas (if applicable)
  • Experience with complex or multi-diagnosis patients
