Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating disabilities, injuries and disease using a range of manual therapy, modalities and exercises as well as providing education and consulting services. The Physical Therapist complies with all regulatory, professional, ethical, quality improvement and facility standards, performs charting and patient progress notes as well as supervision, training and assistance to department personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient care including evaluation and treatment of patients referred by providers
  • Provides appropriate supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and support personnel
  • Completes documentation related to patient care in a timely manner
  • Participates in and provides educational in-services for staff and providers
  • Collaborates with healthcare team and provides professional recommendations regarding patient care
  • Participates in patient related care coordination activities (e.g. care conferences, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Minnesota PT license
Excellent computer skills with ability to learn, understand and work with computer software

Understand how to effectively work with different personality styles and ability to prioritize team culture
Excellent time management and organizational skills – able to prioritize department/therapist needs and stay focused on completing tasks
Able to develop and maintain positive inter/intra-department relationships with colleagues and management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
