Physical Therapist (Neuro / Brain Injury Rehabilitation)

Resilire Neuro is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our neurological rehabilitation team, working with individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI). This full-time, in-person role focuses on functional mobility, gait training, balance, and independence within a residential rehabilitation setting.

This is an opportunity to practice Physical Therapy in a purpose-driven environment, without volume-driven outpatient pressure, while building meaningful therapeutic relationships and supporting long-term functional outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Perform physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and reassessments using evidence-based practices
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, balance, gait, transfers, and functional mobility
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including OT, SLP, nursing, case management, and behavioral health
• Support clients in achieving meaningful personal goals related to daily living and community participation
• Educate clients, families, and staff on therapeutic strategies, adaptive equipment, and safety techniques
• Complete timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards
• Conduct home and community mobility assessments and recommend adaptive equipment or environmental modifications
• Participate in care conferences and team meetings, contributing clinical insight and collaborative problem-solving
• Maintain professional and ethical standards while engaging in ongoing professional development

What You Bring

Required:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (DPT or Master’s)
• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Michigan
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain; available on site)
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred (not required):

• Experience in neurological rehabilitation, brain injury, or complex rehab populations
• Experience working with TBI or behavioral health considerations
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Experience with electronic medical record systems

Physical Therapists with transferable experience (outpatient, inpatient, hospital-based, or SNF) and a genuine interest in neuro rehab are encouraged to apply.
