Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs across inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, geriatric, and community settings.
  • Develop and execute individualized care plans utilizing physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics-focused interventions.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy sessions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and function while educating patients on self-care strategies.
  • Coordinate discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes and ensure adherence to medical terminology and physiology principles.
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently for documentation of treatment progress and care plans.
  • Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices, including specialized areas like pediatrics and geriatrics, to provide top-tier patient care.

Experience

  • Proven experience working in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments with a focus on patient care delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess conditions and tailor treatment approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with discharge planning, acute care procedures, and developing comprehensive care plans.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and treatment tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced healthcare environments.
  • Experience in specialized areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, or sports medicine is highly desirable.

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
