Physical Therapist, Acute Care Rehab, PRN, Baptist South

We’re hiring a Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehab Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN Days position located at Baptist South.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Team at Baptist South. This position requires a candidate with at least 1 year of recent experience working in an acute care setting, and experience in ortho and neuro care. This is a PRN opportunity working Day Shift (3 8-hour shifts - at least 3 times per month).

Physical Therapist, Acute Care, Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients.

• Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.

• Oversees support staff. Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.

• Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.

• Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

*Active BLS from the American Heart Association and licensure from the FL Department of Health required*
