About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at Tristar Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Newport, TN. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping patients recover and achieve their physical health goals through personalized care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
- Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.
- Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Requirements:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

- Basic knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
