Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Lead patients through therapeutic exercise, mobility, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Apply therapeutic modalities including heat/cold, ultrasound, e-stim, and manual techniques.
• Document patient progress according to clinic and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients on home exercises and self-management strategies.
• Assist with sport-specific rehabilitation and return-to-play programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current or eligible NY PTA licensure.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Outpatient ortho or general rehab experience.
• Sports medicine experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
