Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)– Outpatient Pulmonary Rehab Clinic

Location: Breathing Center of Houston (Woodlands Location)

Start your career where it matters most. Join a family-owned pulmonary rehab team that’s been changing lives across Houston since 2008—and build the kind of clinical skills, mentorship, and work-life balance that set you up for a long, rewarding career.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate PTA to join our Woodlands clinic—one of five Breathing Center of Houston locations across the greater Houston area. You’ll deliver hands-on pulmonary rehabilitation to patients living with COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, asthma, long-haul COVID, and pre/post lung transplant conditions.

This isn’t a high-volume, assembly-line caseload. You’ll spend real time with each patient, track meaningful progress, and work in a structured outpatient environment where clinical quality comes first.

WHY PTA's LOVE WORKING HERE

✓ Monday–Friday Schedule

No nights, no weekends, no on-call. Your evenings and weekends are yours—period.

✓ Manageable Caseloads

Enough time with each patient to deliver care you can be proud of—not rushed through.

✓ Real Mentorship

Learn from experienced clinicians who are invested in your growth—not just your productivity numbers.

✓ Specialized Experience

Build a niche skillset in pulmonary rehab that sets your resume apart from day one.

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE

You’ll work directly with patients in a one-on-one outpatient setting, guiding them through individualized exercise programs, breathing techniques, and education to manage their conditions and reclaim their independence. You’ll monitor vitals, track progress through our electronic medical records system, and collaborate closely with supervising PTs and referring pulmonologists to optimize patient outcomes.

Every patient who walks through our doors is working toward something—climbing stairs without stopping, playing with grandchildren, getting off supplemental oxygen. You’ll be the person who helps them get there.
