Your Impact & Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Excellence: Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved care plans.

  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in strict compliance with PT Board requirements.

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Effectively communicate with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, challenges, and discharge plans.

  • Education & Advocacy: Instruct patients’ families and nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training to ensure a safe transition home.

  • Staff Mentorship: Assist the nursing department in training Restorative Aides to maintain patient functional gains.

  • Department Care: Participate in facility upkeep and report any equipment issues to ensure a safe, high-functioning rehab environment.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current, valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to relate positively and appropriately with patients, families, and professional colleagues.

  • Reliability: A proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
