Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Dallas. In this vital role, you will provide expert physiotherapy services to diverse patient populations in the geriatric Outpatient population, located in a beautiful senior living community. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through tailored care plans and evidence-based interventions.
Duties
- Assess patient conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough physical examinations focused on physiology and anatomy knowledge.
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address orthopedic, geriatrics, pediatrics, or post-surgical needs.
- Implement treatment strategies such as manual therapy, mobility training, and patient education to promote recovery and independence.
- Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transition of care from hospital to home or community settings.
- Monitor patient progress regularly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and adjust treatment plans accordingly for optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home & community care techniques, and self-management strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess and treat diverse conditions.
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices.
- Experience with inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and acute care facilities.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and communication.
- Expertise in discharge planning and developing comprehensive care plans for geriatrics.
- Skilled in manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy for musculoskeletal issues.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to motivate and educate individuals of all ages.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
