Primary Care Sports Medicine is seeking a motivated and patient-centered Physical Therapist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, physical therapy-focused environment alongside sports medicine providers, physician assistants, athletic trainers, and administrative support staff, all committed to delivering excellent care.
PCSM is a physician-owned practice that is physical therapy-focused and led, giving therapists the opportunity to work as professionals within a collaborative outpatient healthcare setting. Our practice treats patients across the lifespan, from pediatric and adolescent athletes to active adults, weekend warriors, and older adults who want to stay mobile and independent. We are proud to provide orthopedic and sports medicine care in a setting that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and strong relationships with patients and teammates.
This position is ideal for a therapist who wants to practice in a supportive healthcare setting, work closely with a multidisciplinary team, and help patients return to activity safely and confidently. We also offer the opportunity to be part of a growing practice that includes a Sports Performance Center and services beyond traditional insurance-based care.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform thorough physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
● Provide hands-on care and therapeutic exercise prescription to patients with orthopedic and sports medicine conditions
● Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with an emphasis on clinical outcomes and positive patient experiences
● Document clearly, timely, and efficiently in the EMR
● Collaborate with referring providers and internal care team members to support continuity of care
● Contribute to a professional, team-oriented environment that supports growth and excellence in patient care
● Guide return-to-sport and injury-prevention programs
● Educate patients on injury management, recovery, and return to sport
Qualifications
● Current California Physical Therapy license in good standing
● Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
● Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills
● Outpatient experience is preferred, but strong new graduates will also be considered
● Residency training and/or board certification are a plus
