Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient rehabilitation team in Ville Platte, LA. We provide skilled therapy services to an adult population in a rural health outpatient setting, focusing on restoring function, improving independence, and enhancing quality of life across orthopedic, neurological, and general medical conditions. We are seeking a clinician who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and values open communication, mutual support, and shared clinical decision-making. The ideal candidate will work effectively alongside fellow therapists and clinic staff to provide coordinated, patient-centered care, contribute to a positive workplace culture, and support team goals while maintaining individual accountability in treatment planning and outcomes. Your expertise will help patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence through tailored interventions. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans utilizing your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to meet each patient's unique needs.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as trigger point therapy and other manual techniques to alleviate pain and improve function.
  • Assist with discharge planning by evaluating patient progress and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Provide patient education on injury prevention, mobility exercises, and home health strategies to promote long-term wellness.
  • Document treatment sessions accurately, including progress notes, treatment plans, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Support patients across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and those in outpatient or inpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care delivery.
