About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at Mt. Pleasant Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as a Physical Therapy Aide. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our therapists and helping patients on their journey to recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
- Document patient progress and report to the therapy team.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients.
- Manage patient scheduling and assist with administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy practices is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
