Physical Therapy Assistant for Home Health (Full Time)

Bond County Health Department is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Home Health Team. Working under the direction of the physical therapist, the physical therapy assistant implements the individualized plan of care to help patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury or surgery. Bond County Home Health serves patients in Bond, Clinton, Fayette, Madison and Montgomery counties.

Essential Duties

• Provides therapeutic exercises and activities to help patient’s achieve movement goals and regain or maintain their independence.
• Monitors patient’s progress and collaborates with other members of the home health team for improvements.
• Educates the patient as well as their families on ways to incorporate restorative practices to improve the patient’s everyday life.

Education/Qualifications

• Current Illinois physical therapy assistant license
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for assisting others reach their goals
• Experience in the home health field preferred.

Pay: From $31.00 per hour
