Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential and live their lives to the fullest. Our state-of-the-art facility, located in Lake Worth, FL, offers a supportive and caring environment where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions

Conduct treatment sessions under the supervision of a physical therapist, including patient screening, assessment, and intervention

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
-
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
-
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercise programs, and self-care techniques
-
Participate in patient care conferences and report to physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in physical therapy or related field preferred

One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant

Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
