Physical Therapy Assistant (Licensed)

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Stonehaven Senior Living. In this role, you will assist in implementing individualized therapy programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission to provide exceptional care and service.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate care plans effectively.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient outcomes and strategies.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
