Physical Therapist Technician Job Responsibilities:

Supports physical therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment and materials; performing procedures, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist at our location in Lexington,KY.

Physical Therapist Technician Job Duties:

• Assist with sanitization of therapy equipment
• Improve communication and patient engagement
• Improve overall patient satisfaction
• Improve office communication between administration and therapy teams
• Assist with patient care and physical therapy treatment plan, including, but not limited to: Exercise instruction, Verbal cueing on ergonomics/postural techniques, Scheduling patients, Scanning appropriate documents into computer system, Issuing and fitting DME,
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Physical Therapy Technician Skills and Qualifications:

Creating a safe, effective environment, verbal communication, listening, coaching, patient services, self-development, coordination, teamwork, multi-tasking, supply management

Preferences:

• Sports/Personal Training experience
• Bilingual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
