Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and detailed medical histories, to accurately diagnose health conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines.
• Perform or oversee specialized procedures
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses across inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care through effective discharge planning and follow-up.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR systems to document patient encounters meticulously and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, radiologists, specialists in cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, and other fields to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to advance medical knowledge and enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.
• Proven experience in hospital medicine, outpatient care, or specialized fields such as cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, or neurology.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems like Epic or other EMR platforms; familiarity with medical imaging interpretation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical procedures including airway management and IV infusion techniques.
• Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers or acute care environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop effective care plans.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining compassionate patient interactions. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
