PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - DERMATOLOGY - LAMBERTVILLE, MI

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

General Summary:

Educate and advise patients, diagnose and treat health problems, and provide general health care under the direction of the physician.

Works under the supervision of Dr. Kouba

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Example of Essential Duties:

Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis: Perform physical exams, take medical histories, and diagnose various skin conditions.
Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and administer treatments for skin conditions.
Procedures: Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and other minor surgical procedures.
Patient Education: Educate patients on proper skincare, sun protection, and preventive measures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Required:

Active Physician Assistant License from the Michigan State Medical Board
Knowledge of Physician Assistant theory, practice and medical care, medical equipment and instruments, and OSHA regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and determine solutions in order to best serve the patients.
Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
Current BLS required.
