Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner -Surgery General in Reno/Tahoe, Academic Affiliate

Renown Health and University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting an experienced NP or PA General Surgery .

Minimum of 2 years’ Surgery Assist experience is strongly preferred. First Assist Certification is required for NPs.

The General Surgery NP will provide Surgery Assistance in the OR, evaluate, consult, and round in the hospital on any admitted patients, as well as see patients in the Outpatient Clinic for post-operative follow up.

Position Highlights

• Monday – Friday, 7 am to 5 pm
• 1st Assist Surgeries – must be 1st assist certified
• Daily rounds in the hospital
• Outpatient Clinic seeing new consults and post op follow up appointments
• Call shared with other APPs
• Epic EMR
