Description:
Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Urology Experts team. This provider will collaborate with urologists to deliver comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions, including pre- and post-operative management, chronic disease management, and office-based procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent clinical judgment, strong patient communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced surgical and specialty clinic environment.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations

Collaborate with urologists on treatment planning and management for medical and surgical patients

Assist with minor procedures in the office setting as permitted by scope of practice

Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients

Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests

Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Provide patient education on urologic conditions, preventive care, medications, and surgical preparation/recovery

Coordinate care with nursing, support staff, and ancillary services to ensure continuity

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice protocols
Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program

Current licensure as PA-C or NP in Florida
-
BLS/ACLS certification required; other specialty certifications preferred

Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; urology or surgical specialty experience a plus

Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth)

Knowledge of urologic diseases, office procedures, and post-operative management

Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
