Physician Assistant (PA) - Internal Medicine

Our internal medicine practice in Flushing, founded by Dr. Yong Yu, a Peking University–trained physician, is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to our community. We are seeking a bilingual (Chinese–English) Physician Assistant to join our collaborative clinical team.

Position Overview

The PA will provide high-quality primary and acute care services under physician collaboration, managing a diverse adult patient population in an outpatient setting.

Pay

• From $130,000 to $200,000 per year (full-time)
• Part-time available at $90 - $120/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments
• Obtain and document medical histories, vital signs, and clinical findings
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Administer injections and perform in-office procedures
• Provide triage and urgent care management as needed
• Utilize EMR systems (MDLand) for accurate documentation and care coordination
• Deliver patient education on disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modification

Requirements

• Strong bilingual communication skills (Chinese and English required)
• Valid certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) with current licensure in NY
• Demonstrated experience in internal medicine or hospital medicine settings
• Proficiency with EMR systems (MDLand) is a plus but not required
• Clinical skills including venipuncture, phlebotomy, and routine outpatient procedures
• Experience in geriatrics, infectious disease, and palliative care is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
