Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Urgent Care

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, treating a wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments, physical exams, and order/interpret diagnostic tests
• Diagnose and treat acute conditions, including minor injuries, infections, and other urgent health concerns
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and support team members
• Provide patient education on treatment, follow-up care, and preventative health measures
• Document encounters accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Current PA or NP license in Michigan
• Certification through NCCPA (for PA) or ANCC/AANP (for NP)
• Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
