Dentist - Job Overview

Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri | No Wednesday | 8AM-4PM | 32 Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality dental care to all patients, adhering to the highest standards of practice
  • Collaborate with the Director of Dental Services to establish and refine dental policies
  • Participate actively in quality improvement and performance evaluation initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor dental ancillary staff, fostering a culture of learning and growth
  • Provide emergency dental care as scheduled
  • Engage in community health events to promote oral health awareness
  • Contribute to the Performance Improvement Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall mission of Legacy Community Health

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited dental school
  • Hold a valid Texas dental license
  • Participate in Medicare and Medicaid Programs, and other reimbursement programs
  • Demonstrate professional clinical dental experience in general practice
  • Possess authoritative knowledge of dentistry techniques and practices
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with our diverse patient base
