Summary/Primary Role:
The Endocrinologist will provide expert medical care to patients with a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and other hormonal conditions. The Endocrinologist will work collaboratively with other medical specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care in outpatient settings.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment of endocrine disorders.
- Manage and monitor patients with diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, lipid, and metabolic conditions.
- Interpret diagnostic studies such as thyroid ultrasounds, bone density scans, and hormone assays.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle counseling, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient management.
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to nurse practitioners and physician assistants as applicable.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with practice and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and continuing medical education.
- Promote patient education, disease prevention, and evidence-based treatment strategies.
- Adhere to all clinical policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Active and unrestricted New York State medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current DEA registration.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position may have supervisory responsibility for Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) within the Endocrinology Department.
Expected Hours of Work:
An Employee must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, however the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Premier Medical Group also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $275,000.00-$325,000.00.
Travel Requirements:
Travel between Premier Medical Group office locations may be required.

This role operates primarily in a clinical office setting, with occasional inpatient or procedural responsibilities. The environment is fast-paced and patient-focused, requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism under pressure.
