Physician (MD) - Gastroenterologists
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: Negotiable
Shift: Days Full-time daytime clinical practice with procedures and office-based care
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Gastroenterologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.
Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.
Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services as a full-time physician
- Join a collaborative team of six dedicated physicians including an advanced endoscopist
- Utilize comprehensive range of endoscopic techniques in cutting-edge facilities
- Work in integrated practice with seamless coordination between hospital, ASC, and office services
- Participate in on-call coverage schedule anticipated every 8th week
- Maintain board certification in Gastroenterology or achieve certification within 2 years if board eligible
- Maintain valid Michigan medical license
- Maintain current DEA registration
- Maintain current BLS certification and complete recertification as required
- Provide exceptional patient care in collaborative and supportive environment
- Participate in team activities that prioritize innovation and work-life balance
- Work with state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology on single campus location
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Gastroenterologists experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
