Pay: Negotiable

Shift: Varied 7on/7off (22 weeks per year)

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Gastroenterologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide coverage for all unassigned GI patients
• Deliver general gastroenterology consultative inpatient services from 7:30am to 5pm
• Work 7 days on/7 days off schedule (22 weeks per year)
• Collaborate with 2 inpatient APPs covering 7 days per week
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Obtain and maintain Georgia medical license
• Obtain and maintain DEA registration prior to start date
• Maintain clean malpractice history
• Provide current NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days)

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Gastroenterologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
